UQ Centenary Celebration Day

Sunday 18 April is UQ Centenary Celebration Day (9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.).

Although teaching commenced in 1911, The University of Queensland dates its foundation from 1910 when the University was promulgated by the State Government and the first UQ Senate was appointed.

The University is inviting the Brisbane public to come and join in the Centenary celebrations.  The celebrations include Entertainment in the Great Court, Campus Walks & Tours, Science Displays, Health & Wellbeing Activities, Museum Tours and Kids’ Activities.
