Top Tennis Coming to UQ

On Friday night, 11 September, the UQ Sport Tennis Centre will be hosting two Brisbane Tennis League matches.

The fourth round Pool 1 matches to be played at UQ on 11 September are:
UQ Saints v Shaw Park Sharks
Redcliffe Rhinos v Morningside Magic

This is a great opportunity for Club members to see some of Queensland's best players in action and to support UQ Saints.

After the first two rounds, UQ Saints is undefeated.  The third round matches are being played at the Redcliffe Tennis Centre on Saturday night, 5 September.

At UQ on 11 September, the BTL matches start at 6:30 p.m.

As well as the BTL matches, there will be lots of other activities at the UQ Sport Tennis Centre on the night, including:
Fundraising BBQ on the clubhouse verandah from 6 p.m.
Hit-the-Cone Serving Competition at 6:30 p.m.
The Smash Bar open from 7 p.m.
Table Tennis Competition in the clubhouse from 7:30 p.m.
Pool Competition in the clubhouse from 7:30 p.m.
Lucky Prize Draw

The Brisbane Tennis League is an elite teams competition featuring many of Queensland's top players. Matches in the BTL are best-of three Fsat4 sets in Singles and best-of-twp Fast4 sets in Doubles.  The competition runs for 5 rounds, followed by a Final between the two Pool winners on Sunday morning, 15 November, at the Queensland Tennis Centre.
