Tennis Practice Postponed

Unfortunately, Tennis Practice has been postponed for at least a month.

Tennis Practice has to be cancelled while new lights are being installed on 17 courts.  It is not yet possible to provide a definite restart date.

On Wednesday night (29 January), the Tennis Club was informed that UQ Property & Facilities would be closing all 17 courts for night play from 4 February for the duration of the project. This leaves insufficient courts available to run Tennis Practice and other night programs.    

If there are no holdups and the project runs to schedule, the new lights will be installed by 3 March. 

Players should watch out for communications from the Tennis Club for updates on the progress of the court lighting project and the restart of Tennis Practice and other night programs.
