Membership Cards
All Club Membership Cards should now be available.
Usually, membership cards will be available with 1-2 days of an application being received. However there has been a short lag in producing cards recently as so many entries came in at the same time for Team Fixtures and then the Fixtures had to be organized as a priority
Paid membership categories are Ordinary (adult UQ students, UQ staff & UQ graduates), Associate (other adults) and Junior (under 18).
Cards can be collected during Fixtures, Tournaments, Social Tennis and Practice. For collection at any other time, contact admin@uqtc.org.au to sort out when the Club Office will be open.
The Club Membership Card is required to get member discounts at Social Tennis and Tennis Practice. The card includes one free visit to Sunday Afternoon Social Tennis, Thursday Night Social Tennis and Wednesday Nighty Tennis Practice. These are clipped off the card as used.
This year, members will also receive some discounts at the UQ Sport Tennis Centre Pro Shop:
- 25% discount on all restrings
- 10% discount on items & accessories such as grips & dampeners (excluding apparel, racquets, pickleball paddles and canteen items)
To receive these benefits, members need to be entered into UQ Sport’s sales system as Club Members. This means there will be a slight lag between Club membership applications being processed and these Pro Shop benefits being available.
Note: The Tennis Centre at UQ is run by UQ Sport. Membership of the Tennis Club does not include use of the courts. For enquiries about court hire, coaching, equipment purchases or restringing, contact the UQ Sport Tennis Centre Pro Shop (Phone 3365 6612, Email tennis@uqsport.com.au).
