Extra Membership Benefits
BY arrangement with UQ Sport, Ordinary, Associate & Junior Members of the UQ Tennis Club will now receive the following benefits at the UQ Sport Tennis Centre:
- 8 free bookings per year of off-peak court hire from MOnday to Friday (subject to court availability) - each booking for 1 hour between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. or 2 hours from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- 2 free bookings per year of off-peak court hire on Sundays (subject to court availability) - each booking for 1 hour between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- 10% off four racquet re-strings per year
- 10% off applicable rate for one Adult Group Coaching Course per year
Depending on the choices made and whether a member is UQ Community or Public, this package is worth $183 to $288.
Ordinary, Associate & Junior Members of the UQ Tennis Club also receive the following benefits:
- access to 3 Club Fixture programs (on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday nights)
- access to 2 Brisbane Fixture programs with a home court at UQ (Brisbane Night Tennis Association Fixtures on Wednesday evenings & Wednesday nights)
- access to 2 Social Tennis programs at discount rates (on Sunday afternoons and Thursday nights) - save $5 per visit on Sunday afternoons or $3 per visit on Thursday nights
- 2 free passes per year for Sunday Afternoon or Thursday Night Social Tennis
- access to Tuesday Night Practice at a discount rate - save $4 per visit
- access to an extensive program of 3 daytime & 10 night-time participation-style Club tournamenst at a discount rate - save $5 per tournament

The discounts & free courts at the UQ Sport Tennis Centre and the free Social Tennis visits at the Club are lsited on the UQ Tennis Club Membership Card. To utilize these benefits, the Membership Card must be presented and the card will be hole-punched as the discounts and freebies are used. Membership Cards are not transferable and photo I.D. may also be required.
The discounts and freebies above are not available to players who have been granted free Restricted Membership of the Club to enable them to participate in Club participation-style tournaments or to give them Player Injury Insurance through Tennis Queensland.
Ordinary, Associate & Junior Membership costs:
$85 for full year (to 31 December, 2015)
$65 for half year (1 January to 31 July or 1 July to 31 December)
$45 for quarter year (1 October to 31 December)
