Court Lighting Update (10 February)

Good news, work on installing new LED lights on 17 courts started last Tuesday, 4 February.

If there are no holdups and the project runs to schedule, all the new lights will be installed by 3 March and the Tennis Centre will have 21 courts open for night play.

All 17 courts involved in the court lighting installation project will be closed for night play for the duration of the project.  This leaves insufficient courts available to run Tennis Practice and other night programs. Some courts will also be closed during the daytime as work is being carried out on poles and earthworks adjacent to those courts.

Players should watch out for communications from the Tennis Club for updates on the progress of the court lighting project and for information about the restart of Wednesday Night Tennis Practice, Saturday Night Tournaments and Thursday Night Social Tennis.
