Beach Tennis

The UQ Tennis Centre will be re-launching its Beach Tennis Social Nights on Wednesday 6 October.

Beach Tennis is a new, exciting, fast paced sport that is very popular in Europe.  It is a hybrid of Tennis, Beach Volleyball and Badminton and is strictly an aerial  game, played with volleys and lobs.

Beach Tennis will be run as a casual social program with no enrolment or permanent commitment required.  Participants simply pay for the sessions they attend.  The Beach Tennis Social Nights offer a fun, friendly, stimulating opportunity for people to get involved and get active.

The Beach Tennis Social Nights program will run on Wednesday nights from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  The games will be played on the UQ Beach Volleyball Courts which are located near the Tennis Centre.  Participants will need to check in and pay at the Tennis Centre Pro Shop.  The cost will be $10 per person (which includes racquet and ball hire).
