Annual General Meeting 30 Oct 2011

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The University of Queensland Tennis Club Inc. will be held on Sunday afternoon, 30 October, in the UQ Tennis Clubhouse, starting at 4 p.m.

The business to be conducted at the AGM includes:

• President's Report
• Financial Report (2010/2011)
• Election of Management Committee**
• Presentation of Trophies for Annual Club Championships

All UQ Tennis Club members should attend the AGM of their club. The AGM is an important part of the governance of the Club. It is the major opportunity for members to find out how the Club is travelling and the plans of the Management Committee for the future.

As the number of nominations received by the 10 October nomination deadline did not exceed the number of positions available, a number of positions on the new Management Committee can be filled from the floor of the meeting.

** There will be a short meeting of the new Management Committee straight after the completion of the AGM.
