The UQ Tennis Club's 2023 Tournament Program continues with the Autumn Night Tournament Series.

The Autumn Series consists of 3 Saturday-night tournaments:

Singles Tournament  -  13 & 20 May (6 p.m. to 10 p.m.)  -  Open & A Grade events on 13 May and B & C Grade events on 20 May

Note:  If play on the designated night is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the tournament will be played or continued on the following Saturday night.  Entrants should ensure they are available for both nights if necessary.

Entries close on the Thursday before each tournament.

These are all participation-style tournaments which use Round-Robin formats to keep everybody playing.  Events are offered at 4 levels to cater for players of all standards.

The four levels are:

All entrants in these tournaments must be members of The University of Queensland Tennis Club (UQ Tennis Club).  However, non-members will be granted free Restricted Membership of the UQ Tennis Club (includes free registration with Tennis Queensland) so they can compete.  The entry fees for Restricted Members will be higher than for Full Members (Ordinary, Associate, Junior or Hon. Life Members).

Entry Fees:
Full Members  -  $35 (Singles) or $25/player (doubles)
Restricted Members  -  $40 (Singles) or $30/player (Doubles)

The Autumn Series entry form can be picked up from the Clubhouse or downloaded as a PDF file here.  The printed entry form can be used to enter a single tournament or multiple tournaments.  For Doubles Tournaments, each player must lodge an entry form.

Entries can also be lodged on-line via the Tennis Australia Tournaments Website (https://tournaments.tennis.com.au).

N.B. When players go to enter on-line, they are asked to log in through their Competitive Player Profile or create a CPP if they don't have one.   Players can check if they have already a Tennis ID & Competitive Player Profile or they can create a Competitive Player Profile & Tennis ID & UTR link by going to https://www.tennis.com.au/competitiveplay/create-your-cpp.  Players will will need their 11-digit Tennis ID (11-digit number starting with '66') which is automatically generated when they create a CPP.  The old Player ID (11 digit number starting with '61' is no longer valid.
