2025 June Singles Night Tournament

The UQ Tennis Club's 2025 Tournament Program continues with the June Singles Night Tournament.

The June Singles will be played on two Saturday nights, 14 & 21 June (6 p.m. to 10 p.m.).

If play on 14 June is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the affected events will be played or completed on 21 June or 28 June.  If play on 21 June is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the affected events will be played or completed on 28 June.  Entrants should ensure they can be available for all relevant nights if necessary.

The June Singles Tournament is an any-gender competition (i.e. male and female players will compete against each other).

This is a participation-style tournament which uses Round-Robin formats to keep everybody playing.  Events are offered at 4 levels to cater for players of all standards.

All entrants in this tournament must be members of The University of Queensland Tennis Club (UQ Tennis Club).  However, non-members will be granted Restricted Membership of the UQ Tennis Club (includes free registration with Tennis Queensland) so they can compete.  The entry fees for Restricted Members will be higher than for Full Members (Ordinary, Associate, Junior or Hon. Life Members).

Entry Fees:
Full Members  -  $35
Restricted Members  -  $40

Events are offered at 4 levels:
OPEN  -  top level 
A GRADE  -  equiv. to or lower than UTR 7.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures A2 Grade, UQTC Social low Red)
B GRADE  -  equiv. to or lower than UTR 6.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures B1 Grade, UQTC Social Yellow)
C GRADE  -  equiv. to or lower than UTR 4.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures Cq Grade, UQTC Social Green)

The Open & B Grade events will be played on 14 June and the A Grade & C Grade evenst will be played on 21 June.
