In Second Semester, the UQ Tennis Club will be running two internal Fixtures (all matches at UQ) and entering teams in one Brisbane Night Tennis Association (BNTA) Fixture (matches at UQ and elsewhere in Brisbane).  Check the 2020 Membership & Second Semester Fixtures application form for competition details (dates, formats & fees).

The competitions are:
UQTC Tuesday Night (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)  -  starts 8 September (finishes 27 October)  -  7 matches (including play-offs for all teams)
BNTA Wednesday Night (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)  -  starts 9 September (finishes 18 November)  -  10 matches + Final
UQTC Thursday Night (8 p.m. to 10 p.m.)  -  starts 10 September (finishes 29 October)  -  7 matches (including play-offs for all teams)

Before lodging an application, check the Team Selection Policies.

Entrants can check their entries have been received and who else has entered herenot yet set up

N.B. Quotas apply for all Fixtures. Therefore, some competitions may fill up before the designated closing date for entries.

Special Note:  During 2020, work was supposed to begin on the construction of UQ’s new $65M Health & Recreation Centre whichwas to open in 2022.  To make way for this development, UQ intended to demolish the Tennis Pavilion and the five main courts at the Tennis Centre which would have a huge impact on Tennis at UQ.  At this stage, demolition of the courts is not expected to happen until after the completion of Second Semester Fixtures, if at all.  However, if demolition of the courts begins earlier than expected, there may have to be format changes in some competitions mid season to accommodate teams on significantly less courts.
