2018 Intervarsity Tennis

In 2018, Australian University Sport (AUS) will be launching a new Australian Universities Nationals competition to replace the old Australian University Games (AUG).

Sports have been divided into two divisions on standard, based on results in last year's AUG.

The 2018 Nationals Division 2 will be played on the Gold Coast from 1 to 5 July and the Nationals Division 1 will be played on the Gold Coast from 23 to 27 September.

UQ Tennis is placed in the Division 1 competition (23-27 September) as the UQ Men's team finished first in the 2017 AUG and the UQ Women's team finished fifth.

Although the Nationals Division 1 competition is being played in late September, AUS requires teams to be registered by May and UQ Sport needs interested players to lodge an expression of interest now so that team selections can start to be organized.

If you are interested in representing UQ in Tennis at the Nationals in September, please lodge an expression of interest by e-mail to unigames@uqsport.com.au

To be eligible for the team, players must be enrolled at UQ in second semester.
