2017 Second Semester Tennis Fixtures

The best option for people wanting to play regular competitive Tennis is to sign on for Fixtures (graded weekly teams competition).

In First Semester, the UQ Tennis Club will be running three internal Fixtures (all matches at UQ) and entering teams in one Brisbane Night Tennis Association (BNTA) Fixtures (matches at UQ and elsewhere in Brisbane).  Check the 2017 Membership & 2017(2) Fixtures application form for competition details (dates, formats & fees).

The competitions are:
UQTC Monday Night (7 p.m. 9 p.m.)  -  starts 14 August (finishes 30 October)
UQTC Tuesday Night (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)  -  starts 15 August (finishes 31 October)
BNTA Wednesday Night (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)  -  starts 9 August (finishes 29 November)
UQTC Thursday Night (8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.)  -  starts 10 August (finishes 26 October)

Season Fixture Fees (covers all court hire, balls & registration costs for season):
UQTC Monday Night  -  $65
UQTC Tuesday Night  -  $70
BNTA Wednesday Night  -  $105
UQTC Thursday Night  -  $80

To play Fixtures for UQ, players must join the UQ Tennis Club:
Second Half Year Membership (to 31 December)  -  $55

All new Fixture members must attend a Grading Session.  There is no registration for grading.  Just turn up at and check in upstairs in the Clubhouse.

Grading Session times are:
Monday. 24 July from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (all Fixtures)
Wednesday, 26 July from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (all Fixtures)
Monday, 31 July from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Fixtures closing 8 March only)
Wednesday, 2 August from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Fixtures closing 8 March only)

Fixtures entries close on:
26 July  -  UQTC Thursday Night & BNTA Wednesday Night
2 August  -  UQTC Monday Night Pairs & UQTC Tuesday Night Pairs

N.B. Quotas apply for all Fixtures. Therefore, some competitions may fill up before the designated closing date for entries.
