After being postponed twice because of rain, the Super Spring Series Doubles Tournament was finally played last Saturday night (24 November). 

It was like ‘musical pairs’ with so many changes after each postponement as players dropped out and were replaced.

In the end, 26 players competed.  The level winners were Jay Nair & Patrick Wong (B Grade Men), Geeske Peeters & Jess Rowley (A Grade Women), Tim Page & Tony Vickers (A Grade Men) and Nelly Nunez Chaparro & Ashley Wilkinson (Open Women).

The winners in the Wilson Lucky Prize Draw were Tim Page (Wilson Tennis Balls), Joseph Omo (Wilson Backpack) and Atsuko Nakamura (Wilson Tennis Racquet).

The Spring Series Doubles Tournament was the last tournament in the Club’s 2012 Tournament Program. The first tournament in 2013 will be the Sizzling Summer Series Doubles Tournament which will be played on Saturday night, 19 January.

The Spring Series Winners were Jessica Rowley and Ryan Carson.  The top points scorers in the three Spring Series tournaments were:
