100th Birthday Party was a great success

It was all happening at the UQ Tennis Centre last Sunday (6 November) as the UQ Tennis Club celebrated its 100th Birthday.

Around 150 people attended the day's festivities which ran from 10 a.m. in the morning until around 7:30 p.m. in the evening.

A range of activities ran throughout the day (including Mini Tournaments, Beginners' Practice Sessions, Sausage Sizzle, Hit-The-Cone Serving Competition, Service Speed Competition, Coaching Demonstration, Hit with the Ball Machine, Tennis Golf & Social Tennis) finishing with a BBQ at 6 p.m. There were lots of small prizes given away throughout the day for the various activities, including a lucky draw for a Wilson prize pack.
