2010 Summer Series #2 - Mixed Doubles
Levels:
- Open: Open to all levels
- A Grade: Equiv. to or lower than ITN 5 (approx. BNTA P. Res. 1, UQTC A1)
- B Grade: Equiv. to or lower than ITN 6 (approx. BNTA Div. 1, UQTC B1)
- C Grade: Equiv. to or lower than ITN 7 (approx. BNTA Div. 2, UQTC C1)
Entry Fees: $14/player (Doubles)
Eligibility: Entry is restricted to members of The University of Queensland Tennis Club.
Format: round-robin, which guarantee all entrants get multiple matches.

44 players took part in the Club’s Sizzling Summer Mixed Doubles Tournament which was played last Saturday night (6 February).
As a warm-up exercise, players indulged in some vigorous squeegeeing (courtesy of the torrential rain just before play was scheduled to start). Despite a slightly delayed start, the tournament was completed on time and it turned out to be a pleasant night for Tennis.
The event winners were Atsuko Nakamura & Tony Vickers (Open), Jess Rowley & Ryan Carson (A Grade), Tiffany Vassallo & Martin Mulhearn (B Grade) and Joellen Ksiazek & Jay Nair (C Grade).
This was the second tournament in the Club’s Sizzling Summer Night Tournament Series.
