UQ Tennis Club Postponements

Due to the severe conditions caused by Cyclone Alfred and subsequent weather events, the installation of new lights on the courts at the UQ Sport Tennis Centre has still not been completed. 

As only a few courts are open for night play, all UQ Tennis Club activities scheduled at night for the next week have been postponed or cancelled.

The specific details are:

Welcome Party & Program Trials scheduled for 14 March  -  postponed to Friday, 4 April

Autumn Mixed Doubles Tournament scheduled for 15 March  -  postponed to Saturday, 22 March

Team Fixtures Grading scheduled for 17 & 19 March  -  cancelled (remaining Grading sessions are on 24 & 26 March)

Also, because of the uncertainty about the completion of the light installation work, no re-start dates can be set for Wednesday Night Tennis Practice and Thursday Night Social Tennis.
