Cyclone Alfred effect on UQ Tennis
NOTE: The UQ St Lucia Campus re-opened on Wednesday, 12 March.
Because of Cyclone Alfred, the UQ St Lucia Campus is closed.
Due to the severe weather conditions caused by Cyclone Alfred, the UQ St Lucia Campus was closed at midnight last night (4 March) and is not expected to re-open before Monday, 10 March.
Obviously, this means all UQ Sport venues are closed and there will be no Social Tennis this Sunday afternoon, 9 March.
A further effect for Tennis is that the new court lighting installation work, that was supposed to be completed on Thursday, will be delayed.
