Club Christmas Party

The UQ Tennis Club’s Christmas Party Barbecue was held on Sunday, 15 December, after Social Tennis.

This was an opportunity for all UQ Tennis players (social players, tournament players, practice attendees, program organisers and committee members) to get together to celebrate the end of another great year of Tennis at UQ, despite all the problems caused by the court light failures.

Late in the afternoon, players had a chance to win some great prizes in the Hit-the-Cone Serving Competition that was run on Court A.  

While everybody was waiting for the sausages to cook, the Trophy & Prize Presentations were held. 

Once the presentations were over, it was time to hoe into the Christmas feast and consume a drink or two or three.  

A huge thanks to everybody who helped organize & prepare the food and clean up afterwards.
