2025 First Semester Team Fixtures

The best option for people wanting to play regular competitive Tennis is to sign on for Team Fixtures (graded weekly teams competition).

Because of the uncertainty about the completion date for the installation of the new court lights, a short season of Team Fixtures will be offered in first semester, starting a month later than usual.

In First Semester, the UQ Tennis Club will be running two internal Fixtures (all matches at UQ).

The competitions are:
UQTC Monday Night (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)  -  starts 7 April (finishes 25 May)  -  7 matches (including play-offs for all teams)
UQTC Tuesday Night (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)  -  starts 8 April (finishes 26 May)  -  7 matches (including play-offs for all teams)

Season Fixture Fees (covers all court hire, balls & registration costs for season):
UQTC Monday Night  -  $60
UQTC Tuesday Night  -  $60

To play Team Fixtures for UQ, players must join the UQ Tennis Club if not already a member:
Full Year Membership (to 31 December 2025)  -  $120
Half Year Membership (to 30 June 2025)  -  $80

All new Fixture members must attend a Grading Session.  There is no registration required for grading.  Just turn up at and check in upstairs in the Clubhouse.

Grading Session times are:
Monday. 17 March from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, 19 March from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday. 24 March from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Before lodging an application, check the Team Selection Policies.

N.B. Quotas apply for all Fixtures. Therefore, some competitions may fill up before the designated closing date for entries.

Requests to play together will be considered but cannot always be granted.
Teams will not be formed with the bare minimum of players (unless there is a shortage of players). In Pairs competitions, teams will be allocated 3 players with 2 playing each match.  Season fixture fees are calculated to be break-even based on 3 players being in each team.
