THIS TOURNAMENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED as the UQ Sport Tennis Centre is closed for night play for the foreseeable future because of the failure of the court lights.

 

Levels:  Events at 4 levels to cater for players of all standards.

Open: Top level
A Grade: Equiv. to or lower than UTR 7.50 (men) or UTR 6.50 (women) [approx. UQTC Fixtures A2, UQTC Social low Red]
B Grade: Equiv. to or lower than UTR 6.50 (men) or UTR 5.50 (women) [approx. UQTC Fixtures B1, UQTC Social Yellow)
C Grade: Equiv. to or lower than UTR 4.50 (men) or UTR 3.50 (women) (approx. UQTC Fixtures C1, UQTC Social Green & Blue)

Eligibility: Entry is restricted to members of The University of Queensland Tennis Club.   However, non-members will be granted Restricted Membership of the Club (which includes free registration with Tennis Queensalnd) so that everybody can enter.  N.B. A higher entry fee applies for Restricted Members.  Entries only accepted where a doubles partner is nominated and that player also lodges an entry.

Availability:  If play on 3 February is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the tournament will be played or continued on the following Saturday night (10 February).  Entrants should ensure they are available for both of those nights if necessary.  

Entry Fees:  $25/player for Ordinary & Associate Members or $30/player for Restricted Members.

Grand Prix:  This is a Category A event in the Club's 2024 Grand Prix.

Format: Round-Robins, which guarantee all entrants get multiple matches.
