2026 Autumn Night Series Tournaments

The UQ Tennis Club's 2026 Tournament Program continues with the Autumn Night Series Tournaments.

The Autumn Series consists of 3 Saturday-night tournaments:
Singles Tournament  -  14 March [Open & B Grade] and 21 March [A Grade & C Grade] (6 p.m. to approx. 10:30 p.m.)
Doubles Tournament  -  11 April (6 p.m. to approx. 10 p.m.)
Mixed Doubles Tournament  -  30 May (6 p.m. to approx. 10 p.m.)

Note:  There is a back-up date for each tournament in case play is prevented or interrupted by the weather or for any other reason.  If play on 14 March or 21 March is prevented or interrupted, the events will be played or completed on 28 March.  If play on 11 April is prevented or interrupted, the tournament will be played or completed on 18 April.  If play on 30 May is prevented or interrupted, the tournament will be played or completed on 6 June.  Entrants should ensure they can be available for all relevant nights if necessary.

Entries close on the Thursday before each tournament. 

These are all participation-style tournaments which use Round-Robin formats to keep everybody playing.  Events are offered at 4 levels to cater for players of all standards.

Events are offered at 4 levels:
OPEN  -  top level (open to all players)
A GRADE  -  equiv. to or lower than Men UTR 7.50 & Women UTR 6.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures A2 Grade; UQTC Social low Red)
B GRADE  -  equiv. to or lower than Men UTR 6.50 & Women UTR 5.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures B1 Grade; UQTC Social Yellow)
C GRADE  -  equiv. to or lower than Men UTR 4.50 & Women UTR 3.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures C1 Grade; UQTC Social Green & Blue)

Entry is open to all players with a Tennis Australia Competitive Player Profile. Entries in doubles events only accepted if a partner is nominated and that partner also lodges an entry.

Entry Fees:
UQ Tennis Club Members  -  $40 (Singles) or $25/player (Doubles)
Non-Members  -  $50 (Singles) or $35/player (Doubles)

Entries must be lodged on-line via the Tennis Australia Tournaments Website (http://tournaments.tennis.com.au).
