2014 Doubles Surprise Tournament

Levels: Fun novelty event for all players of all standards.

Club Grand Prix:  Category A event (participation points only)

Eligibility: Entry is restricted to members of The University of Queensland Tennis Club. However, non-members will be granted free Restricted Membership of the Club (which includes free registrtaion with Tennis Queensland) so that everybody can enter.  A higher entry fee applies for Restricted Members.

Format: Fun, participation-style, which guarantee all entrants get multiple matches.  Although this is a Doubles tournament, players enter as individuals.  Players (all standards, male & female) will be paired initially through a public draw and allocated to numbered courts for the first match.  After each match, the winners move up a court and the losers move down a court.  Players then switch partners for the next match.  Gradually, during the morning, the better players will move towards the No. 1 court.
